Referring to black people as "articulate"


First, I am not calling you out in any way shape or form as this is something that most people don't realize they are doing until it is pointed out to them.
In the media and on the internet you never see or hear a white person described as "articulate". It is always in reference to a non white (usually black) person that does not speak in the manner white folks are accustomed to hearing black folks speak. In other words they "sound white"
Makes me cringe every time I hear or read it.
