I'll take a different view on this one


If I remember correctly, back in the day when it was a power, Georgetown would play a soft schedule, beat up on cupcakes, build the offense and defense, get guys experience and confidence, determine the rotation and then play great in the conference.

Now, of course CU doesn't have the talent the Hoyas did but the practice worked. The Buffs, in my estimation, are not ready for primetime opponents. Tennessee, for example, will send that message to the Buffs.

With CU, no Kin, no Evan, no Jabari, no established studs anymore. Get guys PT hopefully, build the culture of the team, play hard and with confidence and prepare yourself to be competitive in conference play. You have a greater margin for error doing this against "lesser teams:, especially with a relatively young group with a lot of unknowns. Losing to lesser competition will suck, and it will happen, but hopefully not more than once.
