Standard just means not a two-way, summer, or exhibit 10 contract


Since he is a second rounder it is most likely 2 years guaranteed at NBA minimum with a team option on the third. If he continues to progress he will be up for his second contract (and the potential big bucks) when he is 23 years old. He and Samaki made a good decision leaving school.
