What's this?

Is it correct that there are 9,000 unused drilling permits in the U.S.? Is


there a reason that they are not using these permit?
If the intention of the oil & gas lobby is to punish the president by inflating gas prices and bringing down the economy, isn't that like cutting off their nose to spite their face?
If the oil & gas industry refuses to engage in the production facilities available to them, because they believe that Biden campaigned on shutting them down ( which isn't true), then wouldn't they eventually face blowback from American voters?
I mean, the idea of the oil & gas industry with the goal of "getting revenge" seems quite counter-productive, doesn't it? You support them "getting revenge" by wreaking havoc on the American economy until 2024?- B4E
