It's hard to envision a happy path for the GOP in '24.


We all know Trump will run again. His narcissism and ego would allow nothing less. Because he's unlikely to win again, the GOP might go for DeSantis or someone less Trumpy. If Trump does not get the nomination, they'll have his wrath to deal with, and his 30 million hard core voters. It's hard to imagine many of them - or most - voting for DeSantis in that scenario.

This Dem expects a thumping in the mid-terms but heading into 2024, an aging Joe Biden is not that big of a concern compared to the GOP.
