TABOR checks are now expected to be $750, $1500 for couple
expected to be sent out later this summer.
The May projection was $500, now it’s $750.
I’m for the even distribution, but is this a case of higher income earners being unfairly treated?
Since it’s a tax refund, should it be proportionate? Or should it be distributed evenly?
Even distribution might help the economy more. Folks with less income will spend it quicker which will put it back in the economy. The wealthy are more apt to reinvest it, which is also a good thing for the market.
I think overall the even distribution is better.
Some in the Colorado legislature are crying that the Dems are buying votes. Could be, but I think it’s for the overall economy. [Post edited by The Midnight Toker at 06/22/2022 1:29PM]
