Pumping almost $2 trillion into an already recovering economy contributed. Free money for many people who didn't need it, incenting people to stay unemployed, extending child care tax credits, suspending student loan repayments, etc. all putting more cash in people's pockets, driving demand up faster than necessary. Not to mention a Treasury Secretary who badly missed on inflation.

Did Biden cause inflation? Nope. Did free spending policies contribute to it? Yes. And think of the impact if the much maligned Manchin and Sinema didn't stop another $2 TRILLION of federal money from being injected into the economy (in addition to another 1.2 TRILLION for infrastructure).
