The folks that get all up in arms about supporting Lia Thomas are
thinking they are supporting equity in sports and supporting LGBTQ+?. But, what they aren't doing is considering the hundreds of women in the NCAA swimming programs that had to compete with another person who had longer arms, bigger shoulders, more bone density, bigger hands, long muscles, bigger feet---all things that help swimmers.
Supporters of allowing men-to-women trans athletes compete against other females are putting the very, very few against many others rights. Why couldn't they just compete against men?
We all know why they won't. Lia Thomas probably did not transition with swimming in mind, but he/she/it/they/them/whatever sure took advantage of the NCAA cowards that didn't know what to do. But, hey, they didn't get sued by the trans community. [Post edited by The Midnight Toker at 06/21/2022 8:40PM]
