I think the only two sports that generate income for the university are

football & men's basketball. And at a lot of universities, the football program does not generate enough income to carry the other sports.
I love baseball, but I don't think a baseball program at CU would generate a profit for the university. I don't think that enough tickets would be sold. JMO -- B4E
