At first, I was like, "wow! That's great." Then I read the details.
I still like the move, to get another first-round pick and two future seconds, after Tim Connelly drained so much of the draft capital yet I then read that the Nuggets had to cough up another future first-round pick to get the deal done. Not a fan of that type of ongoing roster management.
If I remember correctly, despite two first-round picks to hopefully, hopefully, hopefully improve, the Nuggets now have no first-round pick in 2023, 2025 and 2027.
However, to focus on the glass half full, I like Denver now has at least two picks (unless the front office plans to trade them for a veteran or trade up in the draft).
Will be interesting to see what comes next.
