Was thinking about NIL and I have to say, my mind is changing a little
Many of us are shocked and maybe disturbed by what what we're seeing but I'm coming around to the thinking that if all these players getting paid big, seemingly absurd amounts of money, are worth that in the marketplace, 1) how wrong it was of the NCAA to deny that opportunity all these years and 2) how stupid it was of the NCAA to believe its gravy train would never come to an end.
The NCAA and its members should have done something about this decades ago before it got to this point of being a freakin' free-for-all that looks like it will damage the competitive nature of the game even more than its been.
I don't buy the argument that all the payments are at least now public. Yes, cheating was going on before. It's still going on and when it isn't cheating, there's a lot of sh*t going on in gray areas.
As for CU leadership, that's an oxymoron when it comes to football.
