Well, a majority thought he should win. Embiid, Booker, Giannis, Ja were

all solid candidates, but no one comes close to Jokic for a being most valuable to their team. Even the Mavs could win some games without Luka.

It's not the MEP (Most Exciting Player) or favorite of the east coast. It's the MVP---value to your team.

Most of the whiners are East coast biased folks who don't stay up late to watch Western teams.
