Minimum Wage... 10 Bell + Way to go, Kev!

This is the best idea since NIL and transfer portal came into effect.
Make college athletes employees of the university. They can still receive scholarship support tax-free. Make it mandatory for university to pay minimum wage per hour of practice and game time only. Off-season workouts do not count as practice time. Any college student can partake in any workout of their choosing. Why pay a student-athlete to work out off-season? Add one dollar to minimum wage per hour of practice and game time for each subsequent year after freshman year. Red-shirts don't count.

Any student athlete proven to take any other payment in any way is expelled from school. Anyone proven to pay such money is fined a large amount and jailed for 6 months to one year. Give them 30 days off for good behavior. This includes coaches and any other person channeling money in any way.
