Denver is not beating the Warriors. Why risk re-injury for 1-3 games?
I've long thought that Jamal and MPJ should just sit out the season and hopefully be stronger come Summer League or more likely, training camp.
Both are max-paid players. Risk management. Make sure they are 100 percent healed and in their right mind (confidence) about their bodies before they play competitively again. Jokic is a max player and getting the super max too. Those three guys have to stay healthy or Denver is going to be hurting. The Nuggets also, as is their process, lack first-round picks in 2023 and 2025 and seemingly have traded every second-round pick for years. They have to protect the foundation players, IMO.
