Depends on where you want to work

If you are trying to work on Wall Street an Ivy degree get you in doors that a KSU degree wont. Same with getting into elite grad schools.
I agree that once you get past the Ivy's and the "public Ivys" that 4 year degrees are pretty fungible, but schools like Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Stanford, etc have a post graduate value that clearly outweighs other universities
