It is not going off topic when the question of whether there should be direct U.S. involvement in Ukraine led me to bring up the American withdrawal from Afghanistan. The current occupant of the White House would be the CIC in any direct involvement in Ukraine and he is the same person who completely screwed up the military withdrawal from Afghanistan. The two are directly related for that reason. He is directly responsible for getting 13 soldiers killed for absolutely no reason during the withdrawal. He is responsible for the billions of dollars worth of military equipment left behind for terrorists to use, and the Russians and Chinese to take apart and study. How in the world could anyone trust that guy to not get American soldiers killed for absolutely no reason in Ukraine? Not to mention giving the nutjob, Putin another reason to push the button leading to destruction of Earth.

In regard to Finland, I will again link an article from Financial Times that reviews how Finland has remained prepared for any invasion from Russia since the Talvisota/Winter War in 1939-1940 and Jatkosota/Continuation War in 1941-1944. It appears the majority of Finnish people now support joining NATO. I know many of my cousins support it.
