Great WSJ article on Derrick White. He does CU proud.


'Derrick White went unrecruited in high school and paid college debt with his first pro contract. Boston has been the league’s best team since trading for him.'

And if that doesn't pump you up how about this paragraph?

'In the final hours before the NBA’s trade deadline, when teams look at themselves in the mirror and make risky decisions under conditions of tremendous uncertainty, one buyer pulled the trigger on a deal for a player they had identified several years earlier as someone who could help win a championship: The Boston Celtics traded for Derrick White.'
