Or the players never talk to them again.

But this is really the bad guys vs. the bad guys. Baseball has the strongest players' union in sports -- which is great for the players and horrible for the fans.

And the owners have a license to print money.

It's a shame. I am a lifelong baseball fan, but these days sometimes I'd rather go to a minor-league game. That may be the only option for some time to come this year.
