My inside source obviously leans toward players. He too says it is

sort of ridiculous with the amount of money involved. He would like to see younger players get an earlier chance to earn more money based on performance, and not be saddled as much by “years of service”. He understands you have to pay your dues. However he, like myself, believe that the value of these franchises is going up so quickly year by year that the players should be getting a little more piece of the pie.
