What will "the world" do to stop it? If the Ruskies want


to steamroll the Ukraine they can and will. They might regret it later, but no country or group (NATO) will directly intervene militarily.

I vote for your alternative--assassination or face-saving negotiation.

It's been over 30 years since the Cold War was a thing. This is actually worse. I don't count the Russian invasion of Afghanistan as being in the category. They are destroying all kinds of civilian infrastructure in addition to the military bases. How do they expect the country to work again?

So now we will have a new Cold War with sanctions and cyber attacks against Russia, I presume, and corresponding cyber attacks the Reds.
