You don’t understand systemic racism by your response. The GM and

Owners don’t have an agreement anymore not to hire black coaches. The was the case years ago. Today, when they sit across the table from a white guy and a black guy, all the images from culture, movies, tv shows, history are an unconscious motivation that favors the white guy. A black coach has to be 10 times more qualified to get the job. When they fail they never get rehired like mcdaniels just did. Guy was a total flop but a couple years later got another job. I don’t think bill marolt thought to himself that Bob Simmons would not get the post Mac job because he was black. He looked at slick Rick and assumed competence and intelligence that obviously was not there to lead a football team. Simmons was so much more qualified it was an embarrassment he did not get the job.
