Hey Toker

As a young man I told my grandfather in Richmond that I was in love with the horse farms in Fayette County. He said - maybe your dreams will come true some day.

Well - I can’t leave Colorado. But I do go on Zillow and look around Madison and Fayette counties just to see what’s there. And while the great farms are far out of reach - there are very nice horse farms - 15-30 acres - barns big houses - swimming pools. And as you just wrote on the FB board - such deep deep green.

And these places are much more in reach than you might imagine.

Now actually having horses on a horse farm - probably no way I could afford that. Maybe a donkey or two, , chickens and roosters - that would be cool. Boone tavern spoon bread every Sunday. Catfish from Halls every Saturday afternoon - (flooded out last summer - but coming back).

I know from your writing the bluegrass keeps calling. It does me too - but the call of the flatirons, the mountains and yes - the dry fresh air - too much for me.
