She has a new family to be a part of. She told me when we spoke, that her feelings for us have not changed at all, that we will always be a part of her family with Jason's boys. The separation is because of covid and the vaccine is the issue we have to deal with. But yes, I do get concerned and worried when I feel they are leaving us behind, but then she reassures me, which helps, but she can't do anything about us aging and the kids changing as they get older, and I guess that is what makes me feel so insecure. That we won't really know each other anymore as their lives expand and go on. But not much I can do about it and that is very frustrating to me. And this is that time of the year, when our grief becomes so much stronger until we get past 12-2. It's always very hard, the anticipation, the memories, the bad memories of him actually dying, the last words, etc. We continue to go through that and so we struggle through together, again.
