My observations for this upcoming rollercoaster of a season.

There will be several games like that one, with us coming back or the opponent.

This team has enough talent to play with ranked teams, but enough youth, inexperience and lack of a takeover guy to also lose to some decent lower level opponents.

Post defense hurt team. When not fouling, we gave up too many layups
Too many turnovers, especially Jabari (6) just being careless
Free throw shooting, not bad, but not great
14:16 assist to turnover ratio
Did not play urgently until they got down by double digits early in 2nd half
KJ Simpson only freshman to look ready for some minutes. Lovering will improve.
O'Brien body much improved, but he looks even slower.
Battey must not pick up so many silly fouls. (How many times has he been called for charging where he lowers his shoulder)

Talent is there!
Balanced scoring
Big rebounding edge (38-29)
Decent 3 point shooting (9-19)
Younger players getting bigger/stronger (Clifford is good example)
We attacked the basket instead of settling for too many 3s.
Big time clutch end of game performances by Battey and Parquet
