Grew up as a Broncos fan first, Nuggets second


Now I am more invested in the Nuggets and Avs. Both franchises are contenders, and were built the right way. I don't credit Kroenke (the old man or his son, except for hiring the right leaders and staying out of the way) with Connelly and Super Joe getting it done.

Broncos are dumpster fire right now. Getting a new owner and the right leadership will be the key. But for now, I am excited about the Nuggets and Avs seasons started. The NFL season feels like it is already over, and we have 11 more weeks.

In a similar fashion, from college on, I lived for CU football. CU basketball was not good. Always supported both, but football was my priority. Now, it is the basketball program I am excited for, and ready for NCAA season to start. The program starts with Tad. I am still hopeful that RG and KD can turn things around.

I have gone from football being my first passion, to basketball, similar to the fan bases in Kansas and Kentucky.
