Nice jod. That was a pretty lengthy post

The actual bill is 2665 pages. So there's a lot more than what you highlighted. At 1.5 trillion you might get some GOP votes. The challenge will be what to eliminate. That banking "reform" is probably gone, very unpopular. Is this the time to include immigration? What with the border crisis. Do kids need pre school at 3 years old?
It's going to be a tough road. One very good thing, most of the social programs in the bill, are means tested. Hopefully the funds in these programs will go to those who really need the help i.e. the universal junior college/trade school bill, among others.
Mostly, cost isn't the big thing for me. Just get something significant accomplished.
