I hear you, EBN.

There have been unscrupulous practices in the lending business too. I know as adults we are all accountable for our choices. I get that. I do.

With Baylor and other academic institutions, I see some sketchy or missing ethics. Yes, people could choose junior college or less expensive schools, no doubt.

Yet the pressure in this country on families and young adults to go to college to have a hope to succeed is intense. Schools know that the cost of a higher education is high, if not often absurd. There is a lot of manipulative psychology in play. I guess that's my viewpoint.
