The FIRST bill does exactly that...bridges, roads, clean water, etc....

it's the second bill that is getting all the push back because the extreme left wants everything and they want it now!! I always go back to bernie starting this and now he can't even control them. He's the one that used the term "revolution" and now that's what we are facing except not his type of revolution but the real thing with guns and killing, etc.

I think there are some good things in the Build Up Better Bill, but no one should expect that many presents bought and paid for under the Christmas tree. Sometimes you just have to wait for some stuff you want....maybe even to next Christmas.

I don't think we really need early childhood education. It's better for little kids to learn simple stuff at home and then be ready and mature enough for kindergarten. My own kids hated pre school which I was forced into by friends, a few days a week so they could "socialize". They hated it and I hated it and so I pulled them out. The "teachers" warned me they would never want to go to school but she was wrong. They were more than ready to go by then and they had no problems through out all their school years and worked hard and they learned.

I also don't think every kid should be forced to go to college. I do think trades should be taught in school from an early age like middle school through high school like in the old days. I know many successful plumbers and electricians, hair stylists/beauticians, etc.

And I don't think we should not provide free medicare for all or for undocumented immigrants but they should be free to apply for the ACA without the INS rounding them up.

I think if we could grant huge tax breaks for the super wealthy we should expect them to pay a little of that back and help fund these new programs that will benefit all Americans not just them.
