The best golf tip ever

Learn Aimpoint putting. If you have seen players standing over their ball or on a line between the ball and the hole with hand and arm extended and fingers up, they are using Aimpoint.
Basically it's reading the green with your feet to determine the break(s).
I cannot read greens any other way with a high degree of reliability. Frankly I was clueless plumb bib didn't help, studying contours etc went over my head
A former CU player and asian tour player once told me "Ray, it's like cheating". Which was music to the ears of a foot wedge player like me. Since then I've seen Lydia Ko, Inbee Park, Dustin Johnson (his brother who caddies for him) and others using it.
I was really a horrible putter before, 36 to 40 putts per round with a couple or so charitable gimmies. My wife, who is a better than me (she is a darnn purist, no gimmies etc) laughed at me at first then got frustrated when I started beating her is now a disciple.
Anyway, this is a non political post that I have wanted to share with this board for some time.
No matter what party affiliation you have, there is no reason for you to be out there three putting and holding up progress(no pun intended).
Find an instructor, pay a couple hundred spend the time and ENJOY.
