I'd respectfully argue it's not that simple


These guys do have an obligation to their teammates, yes, yet at the same time they seem to have legitimate concerns, i.e. fears about their health -- immediate and long-term. That makes their decision-making complex. We vaxxed people believe the decision is simple. Our psychology made the decision simple for us. For some athletes, it's less so. I believe there are athletes who just don't trust the vaccine because they have either known people with adverse affects or they think about the sordid history of problems with medicine, healthcare and Black Americans.
