So I guess the question has to be asked

Does the PAC-12 stay the course in terms of scheduling or does a change need to be made? Personally I like local matchups with MW schools as our regular G5 opponents. I think the issue on top of it being a good league overall is that sometimes the matchups get stale if you’re seeing the same team so often. I saw a breakdown on another board that indicated the PAC-12 plays fewer home games versus other power 5 conferences. We’re usually averaging 6.5 home games per year versus 7.5 for the other leagues.

So should we drop down to an 8 game conference schedule and play another g5 program or low tier power 5 program? Do we do what the SEC does and play an FCS or G5 team in the middle of November before rivalry week?

Again I think our stronger schedule attracts more attention locally and gets more fans in the stands, especially from the visiting schools. But do we continue to deal with the possibility of losses to those teams or do we start to schedule more C-USA and MAC teams like the other conferences do?
