Row the Boat

I'm not a fan of team mottos and silly catchphrases. Coaches like Fleck and Hawkins annoy me because they are so into that crap.

Anyway, most teams come up with a new motto each season. I've never seen a coach take a motto with him to a whole different team like Fleck has taken "Row the Boat". That seems really odd. Wouldn't the Minnesota players say "Hey, wait, wasn't that the motto for your teams at Western Michigan??"

Are there other examples of coaches doing this??
