It is time to be in awe over what our servicemen/women ar
are facing in Afghanistan.
The 13 men and women who lost their lives were doing what had to be done. They have to pat down everybody to avoid one of them blowing up a plane.
After that "success" one would think there would be more homicide (preferable to "suicide") bombers attempting the same thing.
What a nightmare scenario for our brave troops. ANY person approaching them could be loaded. With the area packed, it is not like they can take the time to separate people like they do in Israel or in Iraq.
Here's hoping we don't have a repeat episode. But I think it is virtually inevitable.
