Isn't it interesting.


"A recent Gallup survey found that 37% of Americans named football as their favorite sport, while only 9% said that of baseball.

Yet, you would never get the heartstring tugs on a football movie like you do with something like Field of Dreams. Sorry, RUDY does not make it. HOOSIERS is not there for basketball.

It could be a generational thing. Maybe those under 50 would find similar feelings in a football movie. But there is something so iconic about the game of baseball it seems transcendent.
