Might be old school or insensitive but it is the way I see it. I guess the world is changing and you can. But if anyone else pulls that $hit at work, they get fired, period. Show up, if you suck, fine, but at least try. This no show stuff doesn't cut it for me. I also feel very bad for the 1st alternate.
