Feels like both are the right moves for CU at this point.


Payne - I didn't follow her prior seasons, but she had some good moments this year and her players never quit. Bottom line, the cost of restarting with a new coach - yet again - would have set the program back. Let's see how it plays out. JR didn't suddenly lose her BB knowledge when she came here. As with all coaches, she has to establish a system and get the right players in it. That's hard to do in 4-5 years under the best of circumstances.

Boyle is doing the best recruiting in his career from what we can tell, and it took him 11 years to get here. He deserves the money (comparatively), and I'm re-upping my tickets. Next challenge - have a fine season without #24, the little engine that could, and did.
