Well, they don't do much here anymore either. Of course, things changed so drastically in the last year with covid, etc. I know she thinks she can live there because she has convinced herself of it. And maybe she can, now that she's slowed down so much. They always had the family holidays and gatherings at her house and she did all the cooking. I think everyone still came for Thanksgiving but it wasn't the same. She's like all of us...we are getting older and she is trying to make up for lost time. She told me...."we bought a place on 8 acres (!) and it has a pond and we will be able to hike around." She could barely walk let alone "hike". She supposedly has early Parkinsons that's why she thinks she will die first. He seems to be in pretty good health, much more fit, etc. and has a lot of energy and enjoys doing some yard work although they also have a gardener. I think it's because she and he just like us, are getting older and covid made us realize our risks are higher than we thought or knew to stay healthy as we age.
