Colorado's Growing Nanny State is on Steroids thanks to our Dem leaders

Since the Dems control 100% of Colorado, the nanny state is on steroids.

The State Legislature just passed a bill that mandates employers with more than 100 employees must limit the number of employees driving to work.

"The state estimates those businesses employ about 900,000 Coloradans. A total of 25% or 225,000 of them would have to work from home or walk, bike or bus to work by 2023, and 40% percent or 360,000 workers would have to do so by 2025."

Let's take Grocery Stores as an example to show the stupidity.

The Bill requires "work from home, walk or bus" but there are no grocery store workers who can perform their work "from home." So within 4 years, how is King Soopers supposed to have 40% of their work force not use a car to get to work? Especially given the poor service on delays common with RTD?

Additionally, the employers are required to pay for a tracking system to watch how their employees are traveling to work.

Not only is this not practical operationally, it will do nothing to stop global warming when China brought 38.4 gigawatts of new coal-fired power into operation in 2020 alone.

The loss of personal freedoms is increasing.

As a refugee from China who escaped Mao's recently told the Loudon VA School Board;

"To me, and to a lot of Chinese, it is heartbreaking that we escaped communism and now we experience communism here."

The communism here in the US today? Global Warming and Critical Race Theory and it was CRT this Chinese refugee was speaking about.
