He has been digging holes for himself for a long time and now he's dug so deep, there is no way he can climb out now. He's basically going along with McConnell and that is that. He doesn't have the guts to stand up to him. And no one should expect anything more from him. Dems need to stop trying and stop begging and pleading with him. He is what he is. And Biden and his team need to go in whatever direction they can and get something done, if it can be, through reconciliation. Otherwise, nothing will ever, EVER get done before 2022! The dems need to prove to those that were in that poll, that the dems won't back down on some very important legislation.
