Let's not forget ND beat Clemson in South Bend and Clemson played without Trevor Lawrence. They damn near beat ND on the road with a freshman QB.

I agree with Badger that ND underperforms because they have games every year where they win but the score is much closer than it should be considering the talent differential. For example, in 2020 ND beat Duke 27-13 and Louisville 12-7. They had some big wins, too, but they don't dominate the way they should. (In all fairness, I guess that even happens to Bama and Clemson at times)

I agree with your prediction about ND being in the SEC East. They'd be competitive but 10-win seasons wouldn't be as common as they are lately.
