A short essay on the manipulations of the media. I don't

mean this as a lecture, because I know that you already realize this. The media's job is to generate revenue by writing click-bait articles that will bring a lot of eyeballs to the page. They do this by focusing on attention-seeking quasi celebrities who need to push their brand by promoting themselves as sex symbols. If they can provoke the curiousity of readers by changing pronouns or announcing themselves as non-binary, gender fluid, trans, etc. and contact the media in order to publish a juicy gossip story, then they will do that in order to get money.
It basically means nothing. But it catches the eyes of viewers who are curious to read about the (apparently wild) private lives of celebrities, and viewers will pay money to read that trash.

Two last points here:
1. I am tired of hearing about who is LGBTQIA. I don't give a rat anymore what people do in their private lives. People can come out as any orientation they wish, and that's none of my business. Just keep it out of my face.
2. You once mentioned that Hollywood is a cesspool. Yes, there are some very talented people, but there are a lot of hangers-on and ne'er do wells who believe that they can make money by issuing salacious stories about their pronouns, etc. While I am normally very liberal about almost everything, I agree w/ you that Hollywood is a cesspool. /End rant. --- B4E
