Kev . . . I thought it showed a little more . . .

. . . as it shows there may be a battle come Fall camp. Shrout's release is quick and the throws accurate. He seems to be the best arm in Boulder.

I have not been part of a personnel discussion in a long time. I wonder if somewhere along the line, the question arises "do you think he'll leave" about any potential #2, given our new friend the transfer portal. QB would seem to be a position where that would be a bigger question than with others.

Noyer is not going anywhere. I don't think he'll be the day one starter. That means the #1 is likely to have earned the position for the next couple of years, increasing the odds of a transfer. Not that I want to define my football world by which kid is leaving, but losing either at this point is something in which I have no interest. Maybe it will come down to escapability and with the offensive line we may have in place, Lewis' athleticism makes him the day on starter.
