Nationwide recruiting

Of those 65 SEC players, I’d be interested to see how many did not play HS football in SEC states. I’m too lazy to research it but off the top of my head I know Najee Harris (CA) and Kyle Pitts (PA) are from other states. The other side of the coin is players from SEC states who didn’t play in the SEC, like Trevor Lawrence.

It’s interesting that the SEC has gotten even stronger as nationwide recruiting has increased over the years.
