If a D1 football team is allowed 85 scholarships plus 15+ 5th and 6th year seniors that are given an extra year of eligibility, this same team may be hesitant to fill holes if a few of the 85 schollies transfer. Schools that are budget conscious will not be picking up prospects that aren't accomplished and filling an urgent need. As such, thousands of guys are gonna be left out in the cold this off season!
