Oh I see it. My original mentioning of it was a response to a question.
Both parties, government in general do it. I see your point.
The admins for Obama and Trump admin did it, Biden's is and will too. And whoever follows him will do so.

My contention is government doesn't need to have its authority and power in everything it thinks it does.
Governing is important, yes. Improvements are necessary. Biden and his cabinet, and congress should do its best with the time and responsibility it has been given.
Yet, government definitely is prone to overreach at times.
There is an old sports video clip of Marv Levy upset at an official that talks to this point, of being "over officious."
