Why now?
Hundreds of years not being a state, why so much concern about lack of representation, now?
And what about American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands? Should these become states too, or just absorbed into other states? There must be at least five times as many people without representation. Nobody seems to care about them, is it because of religious, racial, economic, or political reasons?
