“Woke” is quickly becoming a demeaning racist term.

Originating in the notion that many of us had to be confronted in dealing with implicit racial bias - it has now become an ugly term with racist overtones used almost daily by Republicans to drnean the actions of others.

Today - McConnell used “woke” to describe the actions of large corporations on Atlanta.

I have seen it so used on multiple occasions on this very board to demean other positions - one senses Pubs love throwing code words out as they play their race card.

It is unnecessary and demeaning - so they should just stop it.
