Used to be annual, immensely unfair to the players imo....


A change of a coach and the player could be gone. Didn't grow the way we thought, see you later. Don't see eye to eye with someone, so long sonny. You are now the 5th string TE after we recruited 3 more, hit the road.

I have read that using the medical scholly was how Bama cleans out the deadwood to make more room for new talent. We don't see you playing here, the doc says you got arthritis of the knees, here is your medical scholarship that doesn't count against the 85 limit.
