Many want to believe that Bolles and James will be sufficient at OT. But...
I'm not one of them.
For one, I don't trust James at all and RT before him was a freakin' turnstile for pass rushers. For a QB still learning that's not helpful.
As for Bolles, he's deserving of a lot of credit. He matured as a player and young man. He seems like a good guy too. Happy for him. Yet will he regress in 21' or continue to develop and stand out for the right reasons? Getting Sewell if he drops to play LT or RT and play Bolles opposite him and divest yourself of James seems smart. Trade James if you can, most everyone needs OL help, or if you have to, cut him. Two years and no return on investment.
I also like Christian Darrisaw for RT.
Of course, there are other positions I like too. Despite the two FA signings at CB, you can still draft Farley or Surtain in case Darby or Fuller busts or Fuller (on a one-year deal) splits next season. You need to cover in the NFL to have a chance.
Or find a LB who can be a force against the run yet also cover a damn TE.
Another playmaking safety to help Simmons, sweet.
An edge rusher and an interior DL who can also push the pocket, both needed.
