I think it isn't only an issue of his performance on the field


Listening to Fangio's comments in general, he just doesn't appear to think Lock has the right "temperament" to be a successful NFL QB. Very little support there. Paton doesn't seem to have much good to say either.

Quick question ... how many offensive players have you heard support Lock with something like "he is definitely going to be the QB for us in the future." In fact, the only one I have heard was Lindsey who basically said "hey, we got to quit talking bad about Lock because we might get stuck with him as our QB next year."

Lock comes across as an immature, entitled little brat who has very little support from his teammates and coaches. Not desirable characteristics of an NFL QB.
